La Vie Hotels & Resorts, in partnership with Well Smart Group, is thrilled to announce the revival of Lindeman Island, bringing fresh energy and innovation to one of Queensland’s most iconic destinations.
Once a cornerstone of Australia’s tourism story, Lindeman Island is set to be reborn as a world-class eco-luxury resort, seamlessly blending heritage with cutting-edge sustainability. The redevelopment will feature a five-star hotel with 209 rooms, multiple restaurants and bars, a luxury spa and gym, versatile event spaces, and dedicated staff accommodation. The project will also introduce eco-friendly infrastructure, including a solar farm and a brand-new 50-metre jetty.
This landmark project will cement Queensland’s reputation as a premier travel destination in the Asia-Pacific region and is expected to generate hundreds of jobs during construction and approximately 500 ongoing roles once operational, boosting tourism and economic growth in the Mackay and Whitsundays.
