This strategic move includes two major internal promotions and a new regional appointment, reinforcing La Vie’s commitment to operational excellence and commercial success.

As La Vie enters its next phase of expansion, the group is focused on enhancing service standards, optimising operational efficiencies, and delivering exceptional guest experiences across its diverse portfolio. The restructure introduces three key leadership roles:
Ramesh Bappoo – Head of Hospitality Operations, South & Southeast Asia
Effective 20 January 2026, La Vie welcomes Ramesh Bappoo as Head of Hospitality Operations for South & Southeast Asia.
With over three decades of global hospitality experience, Ramesh has held senior leadership positions with world-renowned brands including ACCOR, IHG, Hilton, and Marriott. His expertise spans Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and island destinations, providing him with a unique perspective on operational excellence.
In his new role, Ramesh will focus on elevating service standards, strengthening team capability, and driving commercial performance in one of La Vie’s most strategic growth markets, which boasts a robust pipeline of new openings over the next 12–24 months.
Amanda Cottome – Head of Operations, Pacific
La Vie is proud to announce the promotion of Amanda Cottome to Head of Operations, Pacific.
Amanda has been instrumental in opening and repositioning properties, implementing operational efficiencies, and fostering high-performing teams since joining La Vie. Her deep understanding of the Pacific market and proven ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences make her the ideal leader to drive performance and growth across Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific.
Suzette Gunn – Group Director of Revenue and Distribution
La Vie also celebrates the promotion of Suzette Gunn to Group Director of Revenue and Distribution.
Suzette’s innovative approach to revenue management and her ability to harness data-driven insights have been pivotal in delivering strong commercial results across the portfolio. In her new role, Suzette will lead global revenue strategy and distribution, focusing on maximising growth potential, optimising channels, and ensuring La Vie remains competitive in an evolving marketplace.
